On Friday, April 4, former Berwick High School standout Mitchell Sanford’s current college team, the Ole Miss Rebels, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kentucky Wildcats.
The game took place at Kentucky Proud Park. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.
The Rebels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Kentucky Proud Park against Kentucky Wildcats.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced two major arrests involving allegations of murder and child exploitation offenses. Authorities say both investigations required collaboration with other agencies as well as follow-up after new evidence emerged.
Drivers in St. Mary Parish reported a weekly low of $2.87 per gallon for midgrade gas in the week ending Jan. 31.
These former South Louisiana area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
