On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Central Catholic High School standout Hallie Crappell’s current college team, the Regis Rangers, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The game took place at CMU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Rangers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at CMU Softball Field against Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced two major arrests involving allegations of murder and child exploitation offenses. Authorities say both investigations required collaboration with other agencies as well as follow-up after new evidence emerged.
Drivers in St. Mary Parish reported a weekly low of $2.87 per gallon for midgrade gas in the week ending Jan. 31.
