On Sunday, March 23, former Kaplan High School standout Kennedy Marceaux’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas A&M Aggies.
The game took place at Davis Diamond. This was their third matchup against the Aggies this season.
The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at Florence Sportsplex against North Alabama Lions.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced two major arrests involving allegations of murder and child exploitation offenses. Authorities say both investigations required collaboration with other agencies as well as follow-up after new evidence emerged.
Drivers in St. Mary Parish reported a weekly low of $2.87 per gallon for midgrade gas in the week ending Jan. 31.
These former South Louisiana area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
