The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on May 12 that deputies responded to 31 complaints in the past day and made several arrests.

Sheriff Gary Driskell said that Cameron Paul Rodrigue, age 20 of Bourg, Louisiana, was arrested on May 11 at 2:05 p.m. on a warrant for indecent behavior with juveniles. According to the sheriff’s office, a patrol deputy responded to a Bayou Vista residence on January 3 after receiving a complaint about someone communicating indecently with a juvenile through an electronic device. Detectives assisted in the investigation and identified Rodrigue as the suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was taken into custody by a transportation deputy at another agency before being transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has not been set at this time.

Treveone Hayes, age 19 of Franklin, Louisiana, was also arrested on May 11 at 2:05 p.m., facing charges related to theft. Bail has not been set for Hayes.

Lona Marie Lasalle, age 64 of Morgan City, Louisiana, was arrested on May 11 at 1:51 p.m., charged with view outward and inward of window and possession of schedule II drugs. Lasalle was released after posting a $3,000 bond.

Timothy Earl Hillenbran, age 48 of Morgan City, Louisiana, was arrested earlier that day at 11:30 a.m., also on a warrant for theft charges. Hillenbran posted bond in the amount of $3,000 and was released.
