The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 73 complaints and made several arrests on April 15, according to Sheriff Gary Driskell.

The report states that Gilmer Perez-Hernandez, age 23 of Morgan City, was arrested at 10:03 p.m. on charges including driving on a roadway laned for traffic, open container violation, driving while intoxicated, and driving without a license. Bail had not been set at the time of the report.

Jermaine Dynell Harrison, age 27 of Morgan City, was arrested at 4:24 p.m. for criminal neglect of family and on a warrant related to failure to appear in court for charges including speeding, no child restraint in use, and operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license. Bail was also not set for Harrison as of the report’s release.

Patrick Leo Bourque, age 44 of Amelia, was arrested at 4:48 p.m., charged with criminal neglect of family. No bail amount had been determined yet.

Lt. David Spencer is listed as the Public Information Officer for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.
