The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 63 complaints and made several arrests on May 6, according to a May 7 report from Sheriff Gary Driskell.

The report outlines multiple incidents involving residents of Morgan City, Franklin, Charenton, and Patterson. The cases include charges such as criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace while intoxicated, obstruction of highway, theft, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, careless operation of a motor vehicle with crash, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, transactions involving drug proceeds, and obstruction of justice.

Brennan Norton Skinner Sr., age 33 from Morgan City, was arrested for criminal damage to property-simple and released on a $2,500 bond. Johnathon Lawrence from Franklin was arrested for disturbing the peace-intoxicated and obstruction of highway-simple; bail has not been set. Anthony Ray Stevenson Jr., age 21 from Charenton, was taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear related to simple criminal damage to property; bail remains pending.

Brad Devonce Vincent from Franklin faces multiple charges including theft and drug-related offenses; he is being held without bond at this time. In the narcotics section report for the same day at approximately 6:32 pm in Patterson, Wayna Francis was arrested on several charges including careless operation with crash and possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana; bail has not yet been set.
