The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints in the past 24 hours and reported several arrests.
According to Sheriff Gary Driskell, Liberty Grow Falgout, 49, of Morgan City, was arrested on February 11 at 12:30 pm on a warrant for forgery and theft. Falgout was released after posting a $66,000 bond.
Cole Zephrien Fruge, 34, of Bayou Vista, was arrested at 8:12 am for simple battery and remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Brandon Tremell Robinson, 44, of Patterson, was arrested at the same time for second-degree battery and is also still being held at the law enforcement center.
Three residents of Franklin were taken into custody at 8:12 am as well: Dustin Michael Lovell, 29, and Jace Paul Lodrigue, 27, were both charged with simple battery; Jordan Dionysos McDaniel, 32, was charged with second-degree battery. All three remain in custody.
Two residents from New Iberia were arrested for second-degree battery: Anthony Wayne Bernard, 37, and Edward King Jr., 24. Both are still being held at the facility.
Megan Renee Parker, 39, of Franklin was arrested at 11:25 am for probation violation. Bail has not been set.
Jovonta Dejon Henry, 33, also of Franklin, was arrested at 11:52 am on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. No bail has been set in this case either.
Cheryl Lynn Hilliard, 42, of Patterson was taken into custody at 3:56 pm on two warrants related to failure to appear for an expired motor vehicle inspection and operating a vehicle while her license was suspended or revoked. She also faced a charge of failure to appear as a witness. Hilliard was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
