Of the 53,607 people living in St. Martin Parish in 2020, 50.8 percent (27,253) were women and 49.2 percent (26,354) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Louisiana News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 353. In the 65 and over age range, there were 4,399 females and 3,745 males.
