Of the 4,463 people living in Kaplan in 2020, 51.8 percent (2,311) were women and 48.2 percent (2,152) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Louisiana News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 302. In the 65 and over age range, there were 609 females and 390 males.
