Keeping Our Talent Local
A shared goal between Vermilion Parish's economic development and chamber organizations is business improvement, access to needed resources, and flexibility within the market of our ever-changing world. With that shared goal in mind, Vermilion Parish Chamber of Commerce and Vermilion Economic Development Alliance (VEDA) are partnering to offer a joint breakfast event focused on workforce development with a theme of "Keeping Our Talent Local."
Please join both organizations in welcoming Dr. Vincent June, Chancellor of South Louisiana Community College, and Mr. Steven Mathews, M.Ed., newly appointed Vice President of Workforce and Economic Development, for a discussion of skills and training that South Louisiana Community College (SLCC) offers to meet workforce needs in our community.
