Two Teche Action Clinic employees and a former Teche Action Clinic School Ambassador

have ventured into local government.

Amber Richard-Tillman was elected Alderman with The Town of Baldwin. Tillman is an Operational Site Manager for Regions 2 and 3. She is also the Teche Action Clinic Board Liaison.

Karla Vappie, Director of Teche Action Clinic's School Based Clinics, is now First Lady of the Town of Baldwin. Her husband, Clarence was elected Mayor of Baldwin.

And Ajani Connor, who was a student ambassador at Teche Action Clinic West St Mary School Based Clinic, was also elected Alderman with the Town of

Baldwin.
